Trigger Telugu Movie Review: If there are any niggles, they are largely minor. Like, the overlong action scenes, which, despite being kinetic, are quite over-the-top and not-so-imaginative. The opening scenes that set up the plot are also somewhat shaky, including an ill-thought-out song involving Prabha and his team members. But the director wisely refrains from giving us a full-fledged romantic track. Instead, we get the mandatory love interest (in the form of Tanya Ravichandran), but she is weaved into the plot in an effective way.

Trigger Telugu Movie Review by Navein Darshan
I liked the portions in Trigger where Atharvaa steps aside and gives the centre stage to Arun Pandian and Chinni Jayanth. Even though their heroic moment didn’t quite hit the bulls-eye, they are definitely interesting ideas on paper. Trigger would have been the powerful entertainer it aspires to be if these characters were fleshed out well in a screenplay free of distractions. If only.

Trigger Telugu Movie Review by PS Arjun
While watching the flick, many other cop movies like Singam flash in our minds. That’s the thing about mass-hero police action films: they are almost always made around the same kind of ideas. Trigger suffers from the same issue.
I don’t want to say this but it was disturbing me throughout the movie: The fake beard looked childish on the villain character Micheal (Rahul Dev Shetty). Anyway, there are more things that work.
Trigger is neither a profound movie that might inspire in-depth social analysis nor a wholly novel experimental experience. But it keeps you engaged right up to the end after a slow start. It’s not a wow, but makes for a solid watch.

Trigger Movie Review by Ashwin Ram
Despite the lengthy narrative and logical errors, it’s a definitely watchable action thriller that has a lot of moments to like. The base approach is different and the overall screenplay manages to hold. Give it a try. Trigger – Fires to a Decent Distance!

Trigger Movie Review by Galata
Trigger might not offer anything new in terms of writing or execution, but it has moments that makes it a passable action film.
Atharvaa’s performance and stylish stunts make Trigger a watchable drama!

Trigger Movie Review by OTT Play
Despite sufficient opportunities in hand to make an engaging action drama with ample dose of relatable emotions, makers couldn’t cash in on it. The movie ends up as forgettable fare.

Trigger Movie Review by Siddarth Srinivas
On the whole, it is clear that Sam Anton has taken a good amount of cinematic liberties for Trigger, but he has indeed presented the film in an entertaining manner that works out as a fine watch for the audiences.
